Welcome to this blog where I’ll keep you posted through my travels as the Keeler Scholar over the next 8 months. This will take me from Newcastle to a fellowship in Vancouver and then to Kenya working with the Samburu tribe to eliminate blinding trachoma.
The Keeler Scholarship is awarded every 2 years by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists to enable study, research or acquisition of special skills, knowledge or experience for the subsequent benefit of ophthalmology in the UK. It is generously funded by Keeler Limited.
